Fabrini
Brief Biography
Fabrini, was born
in São Paulo/Capital in 1964. At a very young
age he knew he would be an artist and at the age of 13 he knew he
was to become a magician. He first started out in magic working as a
clerk
in a magic shop but that didn't last long as his dream was to be
on stage and tour the world with a visual number.
At the age of 17 he was already working as a professional magician,
working bar to bar at night, gaining experience and further increasing
his abilities. It was at this time he met his friend Vik and together
they would create a visual number now called VIK E FABRINI.
In Brazil they had the opportunity of working at some of the finest
venues such as, Piu-Piu, Galery, Oppus-2004, Ships of Linea C, etc. In
1988, they decided to participate in the worlds most prestigious competitive
magic event - F.I.S.M., which occurs in a european country every 4 years.
That year it was Holland, they took first place in general magic. This
opened many new doors and won them notoriety in the world of magic. Besides
being a regular attraction at the Crazy Horse, Paris for 13 years, they
have also performed for the royal families of Monaco and England, as
well as completing numerous seasons in Monte Carlo's Cabaret. They have
worked in more than 17 countries, and have also been awarded the GOLDEN
LION, in Las Vegas and twice with the Mandrake d'or in France.
With the respect and fame that they acquired, and with their reputation
for professionalism, they are known today in the whole of Europe and
continue to work at the largest and most famous cabarets in the world.
For Fabrini, to draw was always a great moment of peacefulness, he never
studied perfect art technique, yet he found he had the natural ability
to express his ideas accurately through sketching, so he opted to be
a magic cartoonist, drawing cartoons based on his world, showing the
comic side of one of the worlds oldest arts, one of the most intriguing
and certainly one of the most seductive. In 1998 he began work on these
drawings, with a future collection in book form as one of his objectives.
