We just got this book. As Norm started to read it he said: “We should carry this book!” So that is exactly what we are doing!

This book is probably one of the best magic books ever written, and it has something for everyone. It has magic history, a LOT of magic theory, and a LOT of great and tested magical effects.

One of the authors, Levent, has visited us a few times. Very seldom does one meet someone as knowledgeable in magic as him. His ability to dissect routines and memorize every single subtlety is mind-boggling. This is evident in this book. Levent has analyzed in the minutest detail every single Roy Benson routine, from the construction of the props, to their execution, and all the history and theory behind them. Some of the effects described are: The Torn and Restored Paper, the Chinese Sticks with 3 sticks (I’ll do this one!), the Benson Multiplying Ball Routine (if you saw Levent performing this at last year’s Magic Circle Centenary, you know why this is worth the price of the book), Miser’s Dream, the Benson Ring Routine, the Rice Bowls, the Salt Pour….and on, and on…EIGHT HUNDRED PAGES worth!

This book is too cheap for all the secrets it contains. In fact, I don’t know why Norm wants us to disseminate something this good! Magic should remain secret! ;-)

All jests aside, we highly recommend it.
